8. "Hold My Own"

Self explanatory. Iverson has this tattoo to remind himself to stay true to himself, to "hold his own." Allen Iverson is human, and humans are prone to temptations and distractions. So, every time he feels lost, this tattoo reminds him to stay true to himself.

9. "Soldier"

This is a tattoo of a soldier's head with the word "Soldier" under it. Directly from Allen, this is what he has to say, "I feel throughout my life it has been a battle, and I have survived many obstacles like a real soldier."

10. "Cru Thik"

Another "Cruk Thik" tattoo. This one is done with a shadown effect to protrude the letters. It is located on his right bicep.

11. "Grim Reaper"

This is an earlier tattoo that was replaced with the "Panther." Allen says, "I have this tattoo, because I think this is the way my opponents see me on the basketball court." This tattoo features a "Grim Repeaer" with a basketball band in his hands and is located on his right forearm.

12. "Panther"

This tattoo replaced the "Grim Reaper." Allen had this covering the old one and is now a lot larger and more dominating. It features a black panther with a basketball in his hands. It has been suggested that Allen had this done because some of his family members have been Black Panthers, however, this is not confirmed.

13. "VA's Finest"

This tattoo, located on his inner right forearm, features the writing "VA's Finest." Virginia (VA) is where Allen grew up, and he considers himself among Virginia's Finest.

14. "Jewelz"

Jewelz is Allen Iverson's rap artist/stage name. This tattoo is located on the backside of his right forearm. It starts around Allen's elbow and is written along the side of his right forearm. Don't be fooled by the letters, the letter closest to Allen's hand is the last "Z" in "Jewelz." The "J" is down by his elbow.

15. "Bad Newz" & "Belief"

This tattoo is a bit confusing and actually has two meanings. The top text is "Bad," the middle is actually some Chinese symbol, and the bottom text is "Newz." The text makes out to be "Bad Newz," which refers to his hometown, Newport News in Virginia. The Chinese symbol in the middle actually means "belief" or "respect." This tattoo is located on his inner right forearm, near the wrist.
