My favorites are: (in no particular order)

Above the Rim (by far my favorite)
Sunset Park
Love and Basketball
Blue Chips
He Got Game (didn't know that AI was asked to do that part until I read his book Saturday.)

What I have read so far was okay. I had to make myself put it down. Some parts were sad. Some parts were funny. I skipped a lot of things because as I was reading, I thought about issues from years past so I jumped through the book to read about them.

I must say that I respect him much more as a person. I thought about a lot of stuff, especially when I was reading about his younger years. Sometimes, I am still amazed at how far I have come in my life. It still gets to me that I have completed high school and college and I am like, damn, those days have come and gone. It makes me both sad and happy. Happy because I have accomplished many goals that I set for myself when I was younger. Sad because I lost a lot of friends and classmates along the way.

Have you read the book yet? If so, let me know because then I can ask a certain question about something in the book.

MS_KSW: yes you are right about those days they have come and gone and no matter how much we want them back we wont get them back congratulations on you finishing high school and college good you achieved something you set out to do but you sound a little sad about it like yeah i did it and oh well but you need to be proud about and keep your head up we all have lost friends and we still are losing them (i lost my cousin it will be 2 years in april she was my best friend when we were little)and yes it hurts but we have to keep moving on and continue to do what we have to do in life to survive

i have 2 chapters to go on the book but i have been so busy doing other things like taking care of my health(going to the doctor)and busy doing other things that i need to do like handling my buisness and right now the book is not what i am interested in i will finish it soon but i have respect for allen iverson i look at him as not only someone i am a fan of but i look at him as the human being he is just like all of us who make mistakes and make decisions sometimes good or bad and sometimes people for get that especially the adults remember my quote about the haters all i was saying was that when people quit give up or fail at achieveing something that they really wanted they didnt work hard enough and they know deep down inside they didnt so they are angry and all they do now is hate cause if they work hard enough they can have anything they want just like allen iverson and no it might not be nba all star basketball player but it can be whatever they are good at so anyway thats all i wanted to say
