Thats just their style and if people think having braids in your hair makes u a thug thats just they opinion.
In AI case people dont call him a thug just cause of his braids its how he dress off the court also but I dont think he a thug and I dont think people should be stereotyped because of the way they look.

They consider him a thug because of where he came from and his tatoos.Even though each tatoo stands for something positive, so I don't get that. And he had to be tough growing up in poverty and all. Damn, do they want him to be a punk or somethin? He not a thug.  |

Cru Thik.. Yo I like that.
It's true he dresses "thuggish" and his whole style is "thuggish" but his fans aint got a problem wit it and those are the people who pay his bills and give him a check. A.I don't get caught up in what people think and we shouldn't either. We know what Iverson is about and it aint what people assume. We know Iverson and that's the reason we defend him in all situations. They think he's a thug cause they afraid to be themselves and he aint. He do what he wanna do..point blank.

If Iverson a thug than I'm a thug because I wear braids(cornrows) I don't dress like him cause I'm a girl but I be wearin bandannas and stuff. I don't call it thuggish I call it Urban style. And I wear braids(cornrows) because I don't know what to do with my hair it's Frizzy(that's why my screen name is that). When I don't have braids I have a ponytail afro puff because my hair is wavy and curly and have too much of it. It's not thuggish. That's how we as a people dress he aint the only one. Look at rappers and the people in the street that the style we adapted. Other basketball players dress the same they sholl don't wear tight pants. Lol

Judgin Iverson by hiz cornrowz an' da baggy clothez an hiz style in general is like a cover up for judgin' him by hiz race, dey see a successfull black man doin' hiz thang an' dey can't stand dat so dey throw a label at him make him look bad, but my baby overcame dat. He got da MVP trophy 2 prove it
