Allen Iverson supposedly had a party on Saturday Night in Toronto at a lakeshore club called "The docks" in Toronto...(half an hour from where I live) Anyways, I was talking to a friend of mine who went and she said she got to talk to Iverson for a few minutes..She also said that he was loungin in the VIP section, and ladies were dying, trying to get in there. LOL. She said he was kinda drunk too......Anyways, I went to the clubs website and couldn't find any pics...must have been something private. I definitely know it wasn't planned, since I never heard anything about it.

I'm quite concerned. I mean I'm a social drinker myself but to get drunk everytime if that's the case with him is pushing it. He obviously has a problem and needs help. I just want to know why is drinking so heavily if everything is supposesdly right at home??Like you said I hope it doesn't mess up his skills.

Hmmm....I really don't think it's THAT big an issue.... I mean, you have to drink at parties... Especially if you host them. Maybe he just gets drunk really easily..It's not like my friend said she seen him drinkin a lot...he just seemed drunk.

You don't have to drink at parties that you host. It's not mandatory or anything. What I'm saying is you know your limit and when you continously go over that limit then you have a problem. Plus, I heard during last years playoffs when the sixers were playing the celtics, the day before one of the games, Allen was drunk at a bar in Boston.I also heard quite a few times he gets pissy drunk at clubs in Philly.

there's alot of people that get drunk when they party. it's apart of party life,i don't know hardly anybody that doesn't get drunk when they go out unless they are planning on being a designated driver or, they're some goody two shoes or something. and if he is an alcoholic that doesn't mean his life is terrible at home there could be a number of things that could drive him to drink. he's had a tough childhood and even when things get better some people still deal with the things they've gone through even if life improves later.i'm sure allen is happy with his family.

Sorry not everyone gets drunk when they go out more like tipsy. I mean I won't lie to you ,I'm the type of person that likes to feel nice and will have a few drinks including shots when I go out. Yet, I was drunk once and that wasn't a nice feeling. All I'm saying there is a big difference between being typsy and being drunk and if he happens to be always getting drunk all the time when he goes out then he is a bit of an alcoholic. Then you have to wonder why is he drinking so heavily and I don't think it has so much to do with his childhood either. If anything I think he was typsy/feeling nice. I hate when people confuse feeling nice with being drunk because it's completely different. JMO

like i said if he is an alcoholic there could be a number of reasons for that. the man has been through alot in his life and he's recently lost his best friend and that could be a big reason aswell. and alot of people "feel nice" when they get drunk. getting drunk could "feel nice" to him.

Like I said there is a difference between being drunk and feeling nice. The difference is when you are drunk you don't know what the f*** is happening around you. It's like ya in a permanent daze. As for feeling nice, you still know what's happening in ya surroundings. It's either one or the other not both. Really and truly I feel he was real typsy.JMO

He need help for what it has neva been REPORTED that AI has a drinking prpblem. Dont come on here making up theories about his life especially if you dont have any facrs to prove it.

lol. No I'm not. Actually when the incident was first reported, on the BET website, I think it was on the Gist column, it said something that sourrces said that Allen was going to get help for his drinking problem. Like I said more than likely he was just real typsy but people always want to confuse that with being drunk.

well if he does have a drinking problem that doesn't mean he's having a problem at home the problem is within him.

LOL....Sorry, black honey, but I think you're kind of making a big deal out of his social drinking... In fact, the only way we know he drinks is hearing things about it from parties....I mean, if it was an issue, We'd be hearing it from other sources, probably in a negative way...

Like I said, more than likely he was typsy/feeling nice. The reason why I mentioned it was because around the time of the incident,there was a rumor that he was getting help for his drinking problem. Now if it happens he does have a drinking problem, he would be the last one to acknowledge that he needs help. I mean most alcoholics don't think they have a problem or they wouldn't be alcoholics would they.All I 'm saying people shouldn't confuse drunk with typsy because it gives people the wrong impressions.However, you're right, it really isn't that serious if we are not certain a problem exists. If he enjoyed himself,then that's all that matters.

You can mistake him drinking also...What if he's sitting at a table, and there's drinks on it, but they're not his?? Oh well... it doesn't seem to be affecting him.
