TORONTO, Jan. 28 (Ticker) -- Morris Peterson and the Toronto Raptors used good ball movement and accurate shooting to snap a five-game losing streak.

Peterson made four three-pointers and scored a season-high 18 points off the bench as the Raptors cruised to a 94-84 victory over the undermanned Philadelphia 76ers.

Donyell Marshall had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto, which had five players score in double figures. Vince Carter scored 17 points as the Raptors also snapped a four-game home losing streak against Philadelphia.

Peterson made 7-of-13 shots as the Raptors shot 50 percent (36-of-72) from the field and had 25 assists. Jalen Rose spearheaded the ball movement with 13 assists.

Glenn Robinson scored 16 points, Eric Snow added 15 and Kenny Thomas 14 and 11 rebounds for Philadelphia, which has lost four straight games.

The 76ers played their second consecutive game without superstar guard Allen Iverson, who sat out with a sprained right index finger. The Sixers were also without big men Derrick Coleman and Marc Jackson.

Thomas' jumper with 10:03 remaining cut the deficit to 75-71. Toronto responded with a 10-1 spurt to build an 85-72 cushion with 4:46 left.

Injury Woes
Don’t adjust your eyes, the Sixers have had enough injuries in the first 45 games of the season than in what some teams have all season. Iverson's finger was the latest in a string of hurts that has affected all but three players

Eric Snow, one of the only Sixers to start in every game this season, is averaging 10.9 points per game, fourth overall for the Sixers. Snow joins Salmons and Dalembert as the only three Sixers to have played in every game

Player Games Missed
Buckner 14
Coleman 14
Green 24
Hamilton 3
Iverson 13
Jackson 25
MacCulloch 44
McKie 7
Robinson 15
Thomas 7
Williams 28

THE WHOLE EASTERN CONFERENCE HAS JUST GONE TO HELL THIS YEAR!! THEY (esp Philly) NEED TO BE REAL SMART WHEN IT COMES TO THE DRAFT AND TO TRADING NEXT SEASON!
