It took two games, but Iverson doesn’t like reserve role

Allen Iverson is unhappy coming off the bench for the Detroit Pistons — it took two whole games for the veteran guard to fume over his new role, the Detroit News reported.

“How many minutes did I play?” Iverson said after he scored 11 with three turnovers in 18 minutes against the Cavaliers Tuesday night. “It seemed way, way, way less than that. Eighteen minutes? Come on, man. I can play 18 minutes with my eyes closed. It’s a bad feeling, man. I’m wondering what they rushed me to get back for? For that? It’s a bad time for me mentally.

“I am just trying to get through it without starting a whole bunch of nonsense,” Iverson said, after initiating the conversation about his playing time. “I’m looking at the big picture. If I vent my frustration then it’s like, given who I am, I’ll be the one everybody points the finger at. I am just going to try to laugh to stop from crying.”

First of all micheal curry is a blind asswhole!!he doesnt know who’s his best player in court and dats iverson!!he’s their allstar player!a former MVP!!second of all.I wouldn’t point my fingers at ai.one,cuz he’s my one and only fave bball player and I hate lebron cuz he only plays for stats.two,its not ai’s fault he’s not doing well with Detroit,dats bcuz he missed d training camp with them and so he’s not familiar with the team.three bcuz iverson shud be playing waay more time than 18min.four,bcuz micheal curry is a dumbass coach.
Iverson just wants to win a championship and he’s willing to do anything to get Detroit over the hump to bring them there.iverson is a warrior and always will be to me.I hope he does the right decision and stay strong.damn if I could get to meet ai,I’ll beg him to train me.be his next heir wen I reach NBA.and I’m only 14 so I still got alot of training ahead.

That kid maybe just 14 but knows who is the #1 player and that is AI, love you man and hope to see you Saturday at the sixers game I already watsed my hard earn money now that you won’t be playing.

  yes Iverson is the number one player in the nba!he may be small but he proved that heart is greater than height!he plays every game as if it were his last and how can he friggin do that wen he just plays 18min in a game?!damn he shud shift to another team who is willing to handle a pro player like himself properly.

Micheal Curry, what the hell are you doing?? Watch some tapes of Iverson and you might get a better clue of what he is able to do on the floor..

ai is the best player the pistons ever had and they disrespect him and im from detroit 2 be honest i never watched there games until ai got there ..i hope he goes 2 the bobcats with larry brown and bring that philly spark back
