He’s Back – Allen Iverson Drops 32 Points during the US Legends’ 126-109 victory in China

However, Iverson denied a widely hyped speculation that he is in talks with some CBA clubs for a contract this summer, saying he hasn’t been approached by any of them.
Pundits and some CBA head coaches hinted that Iverson is not physically ready for pro games. But he insisted he remains a superstar, at least “in the CBA”.

Not that I’m feeling nostalgic but I think Iverson would fit in with the Knicks starting next season. Lin could learn from Allen. Melo and Allen were former teammates. And the Knicks are in desperate need of a guard. I think Allen has the skills, energy and drive to play even 4 more good years at a high level.

I have never played him, and if i did he would beat me. But that doesnt mean he aint a loser. I would hope a x-nba, or washed up x nba star could beat a average joe. good point , not really, try again, at least if i would have made millions, i would have kept some and not been broke. and not quit the nba like a loser. he should have played more basketball instead of gambling or gettin thrown in jail. but your right , thats not a loser . good point. you should just shutup, cuz you are making yourself look dumb, or like a loser

I don’t think any NBA team will pick him up. Once they lose a step or two small guards usually don’t last long in the NBA. PG’s with long careers like Kidd, Nash, Stockton,Derek Fisher never relied as much on athleticism so when they slow down their type of game is still effective. He never played much D and is a shoot first point guard, if he could adjust his game to be more pass first oriented he might get a look but I don’t think that’s going to happen at this point in his career. When he was an unstoppable offensive force it was different, he could still score some points in the NBA but not like before. Too bad, he’s the greatest scoring PG (in my opinion) ever in the NBA and was always amazing to watch.

Exactly in my eye too, he was way to gifted. Now we know it’s true what they say hard work beats talent when talent fail to work and it’s true mall guard dosn’t last long period.. Its always hard to explain to those who arent in love with basketball to understand what AI is doing. Those who do know him knows that basketball is his #1 love, he always has faith, hope and thats what keeps him going. He will never give up. Michael Jordan gave it one last shot with the Wizards – Iverson is doing the same. Man I would love to see him play one last time even if doesnt play at the level like the beginning of his career. Everyone ages but history is never forgotten! I know there are people out there who question him, talk down on him and hate but those who love basketball with a passion I’m sure you know where he is coming from.
