Allen Iverson will have a lot to prove

Charlotte Bobcats coach Larry Brown told the media Friday he was open to accepting free-agent guard Allen Iverson as a part of the team.

Brown, who led the Pistons to an NBA title in 2004, seemed in a conciliatory mood toward Iverson — considering their tumultuous relationship when he coached Iverson with the 76ers earlier in Iverson’s 13-year career.

But the Charlotte Observer had a quote from Brown that raises questions about Iverson’s future in the league.

“I know he has a big chip on his shoulder now,” Brown said. “He’s got a trainer and is taking care of himself.”

allen iverson i think you should saty in the nba and shouldnt retire because i think your still good………..and im sick of people saying your all washed up and that you cant play anymore when i know you can and you may not be the kobes and the lebrons i think your better and the things that they dont have is heart you see how lebron crued because he didnt get to go to the finals lol but you dont have a ring and i neva heard you was crying let me get back on track all im trying to say is dont retire play for a while loger look at shaq neva mind but you do what you want to do but alot of people dont want you to retire like you said there with be a millon people that love allen iverson and there will be a billon people that hate allen iverson well im one of those MILLON OF PEOPLE (MILLION……………

charlott baby,,,get a fresh start work with a new team,dont try to do it in one year my friend,please Larry build a team,not around Allen but with Allen as one of the leaders,lets all band together and become the next big power house team and kick some butt for the next 5 years,Allen makes the NBA fun to watch,and it is boring when he is not in it,think it ,Ray Allen and Allen IVERSON AND RASHEED wallace and some young blood guys with Charlott,thats a hot team

last year in denver iverson was the second scorer in the league how can some people say he is finish!?? come on allen we want you back on court scoring 20 points per game you are still one of the best it dosent matter the team…i am watching the nba only because of you…i am from europe here evrybody is watching soccer i started to like basketball only after i have see you play…..you can not retire it is imposible to imagine the nba whitout you come on allen we want you back

unless the bobcats make some serious moves i dont think its a good idea. yes he will be the main attraction as he always is, except detriot when they take away his number his minutes and try to break his pride, but allen is still allen, 1 year of b/s doesnt change that. if they make some trades then charlotte can be special but if not be belongs with cleveland or denver. real talk 101. follow me

i wish actually i would love it if he would go to the knicks too but theres no chance in hell. they arent going to spend any money at all until 2010 n they will be the team to beat whether they get lebron, wade, bosh, amare, or everybody in the league! knicks in 10′.
