Allen Iverson Is Planning A Comeback

For Allen Iverson fans, this is the best news to have come out in a while. Gary Moore, Iverson’s personal manager, said that Iverson is planning a return to the NBA next season (Source: AP)

“Allen is working out and he’s getting himself prepared to make his return,” Moore said by phone Friday. “He absolutely will try and play next year.”

Iverson left the Sixers to deal with an undisclosed illness of his 4-year-old daughter, Messiah.

“With God’s graces, she’s doing very well,” Moore said.

“Allen wants to come and help a team win a championship, which he’s completely capable of doing,” Moore said.

Iverson, who turned 35 on June 7, was a four-time scoring champion and averaged 26.7 points in a 14-year career with the Sixers, Denver, Detroit and Memphis. It’s still possible for Allen Iverson to win a championship at 35. Michael Jordan won his 6th title in 1998 at the age of 35.

I think he is one of the best players of all time and anyone with his caliber is completely capable of coming back and try to win a championship.

  AI is capable of doing anything that he wants. He is one of tje best of all times and I cannot wait to see him play again. I went to his comeback in Philly last year and it was electric. Would not have missed it!!!

Is up to great news. Allen is a great player, the best in his position, it has been proved many times. If you return to the Sixers I’m sure they could go far next season, and perhaps to the end. Allen deserves a ring more than any player, and will win it.

Iverson knows no age. Allen Iverson is the best player in the planet..not Kobe Bryant!Iverson’s got a heart of a CHAMPION..he just needs a good support from his teamates is all it takes to win a champoionship. He set his affections on getn’ to the NBA ‘n that came to past, however, he presented himself able then no one knew his personality. Moreover, he must be able to be a TEAM player not see himself as “Iverson the GREAT.” It wasn’t his game, it has always been his ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!

if iverson wants 2 come back he need to sign with the cleveland cavaliers. lebron is stayin their so he would be part of history by helpin lebron & da cavs winning a championship plus shaq might bring wade down their 2 make it easy 4 both players boston,orlando, or la lakers can`t compete with the cavs if they get this roster 2gether mo willimas will amke a great 6th man jason terry & delonte west playin shooting guard off the bench

Allen iverson has been my ONLY favorite player since i was 6 and im now 14. So me hearing this only gives my inspiration to keep trying to make it somewhere in life.
